This tournament will be conducted under the Mini Tennis RED & ORANGE Rules of Lawn Tennis and the Rules and Regulations of the LTA |

Competitors in either event must NOT have exceeded the age limit shown on the front cover. |
|
|
|
|
3 |
A competitor may only enter one event i.e. the Mini Red OR Mini Orange Tournament |
|
|
|
|
4 |
Entries should reach the Avenue LTC no later than 10 00am Wednesday 16th August 2006 with the £5 entrance fee enclosed. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE TAKEN BY TELEPHONE OR AT THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE TOURNAMENT. |

Entries will be limited and will be accepted in order of receipt, provided that the correct monies accompany them and they follow the conditions of entry. |

6 |
All matches, in both the Mini Tennis RED and the Mini Tennis ORANGE tournaments, will commence on a round-robin box basis, followed by knock out stages |
|
|
|
|
7 |
Competitors shall not wear shoes or boots other than those without heels and with rubber soles, except with the express permission of the Referee. Clothing to be predominantly white. |

|
|
8 |
Prizes for winners, runners-up, best dressed player, best attitude etc. |
|
|
|
|
9 |
Play on the Monday (21st) will commence at 10.30am for the Mini Tennis RED and 2.30pm for the Mini Tennis ORANGE. See inside for Order of Play details. Competitors must sign the attendance sheet on arrival on both days. Competitors must not leave the ground without permission of the Referee. Absentees will be disqualified. ANY PLAYER NOT ATTENDING WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF STARTING TIMES WILL BE SCRATCHED AT THE REFEREES DISCRETION. The Referee's decision is final. |

10 |
The Committee reserves the right to alter any condition or to modify the programme [subject to compliance in all cases with LTA rules & regulations] in any way they may deem desirable and to reject any entry without giving any reason. |

11 |
No complaints in connection with the Tournament can be entertained by the Tournament Committee unless made in writing and lodged with the Tournament Referee (or Club Secretary) within 48 hours of the occurrence. |
|
|
|
|
12 |
In accordance with Regulation 11 of the LTA any competitor who has not paid their entry fee will not be allowed on court. |
|
|
|
|
13 |
Refund for non-attendance/participation will not be given save for an exceptional reason, and then only at the Tournament Committees discretion. |
|
|
|
|
14 |
Persons who enter the Tournament or play in a match do so at their own risk and there can be no claim against the organisers for any injury they may sustain unless the organisers are found guilty of negligence. . |
|

|
|
15 |
Children may only leave the club premises WITH THE ADULT who has responsibility for the child’s supervision.
|
|
|
|
|
16 |
Food and Bar facilities will be available between 12pm and 3pm each day providing food and refreshments
|

|
|
|
This is a fun based tournament for those just starting to play tennis at a young age. Prizes Prizes will be given in accordance with the number of entries in each Tournament. The annual mini tennis red cup, and mini tennis orange cup will be presented to the winner at the conclusion of the appropriate Tournament. It is the winner’s responsibility to engrave and return the cup to the Club before the August 2006 Tournament
Draw This will take place on Wednesday 10th August 2005 at 10.00am

Etiquette The LTA Code of Conduct is posted on the Notice Board in the Clubhouse. This should be read and followed by all Competitors. Predominantly white tennis clothing to be worn
Personal Property Everyone attending the Tournaments should take care of personal belongings as the Avenue LTC does NOT accept liability for property left unattended or lost. |

All events including times are subject to alteration according to entries & weather
Starting Times
Please enclose a first class stamped addressed envelope for notification of the starting time of your FIRST match. All other starting times are available from the Referee from Thursday 11th August onwards Please check the time you are required to attend the next day before leaving the ground
