How long have you been a member of Avenue Tennis? 
I joined the gym early February this year.

Tell us about your experience with your Personal Trainer (David Griggs) and your wellness journey... 
So far, I’ve had a really positive experience with the gym and my trainer. Dave’s really friendly and helpful, and all the fitness trainers at the gym are very approachable when I’ve needed to ask for help or when my form needs correcting! I feel I’ve made a lot of progress so far, in both my appearance and my strength, and I only plan to improve on this further. 

What is your next step? 
Since my first Tanita health assessment, I realised the importance of nutrition and a proper diet, and since then, I’ve been on a continuous bulk which I plan to continue until March/April 2020. I’ve found that during this time I’ve gained muscle mass and also a bit of fat which I expected. The next step is to eat a little more over the next few months just to put on those last few kilos of muscle mass before a good cut come March. This will also involve longer gym sessions to get the right mix of weights and cardio, hopefully losing minimal muscle mass along the way!

Joe has done an amazing job on his fitness journey! Our first review was a real wake up call for him to get his diet on track and really knuckle down with his training. His second review was a complete turnaround! All that hard work and dedication he put in through increasing his calorie count, listening to advice from us and putting the time and energy in has really made a difference!
