Sports Massage

Sports massage is a very deep, firm massage which can be used to treat muscle injuries all over the body, e.g. muscle tears, imbalances, tension etc. It is also very commonly used as a 'maintenance treatment' to keep the muscles in a healthy state especially if the patient is particularly active or sporty. It helps improve blood circulation, increase flexibility, decrease muscular pain and reduces stress levels. Some patients may find that sports massage can be slightly uncomfortable, particularly in specific sensitive areas such as the calves but it should never be painful.

Duration: 30-minute / 45-minute / 60-minute session / 90-minute

Osteopath

Osteopathy is a type of physical therapy very similar to physiotherapy. Osteopaths work to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal problems in the body due to injury, stress or disease and use a variety of techniques to do this, e.g. massage, stretching and manipulation (cracking joints). Osteopaths can treat anyone of any age from newborns to the elderly. It's very common to see issues such as back pain (particularly low back pain), sciatica, neck and shoulder issues, but can treat a whole range of issues throughout the body.
