Alex Woolmington

Alex has been coaching since 2004; his role here at Avenue Tennis is to manage and develop the coaching team to deliver the Academy and coaching programme.

Qualifications:
- Fully Licenced and Accredited coach
- LTA Senior Performance Coach Level 4
- PTR Professional
- Sports Science degree
-RPT Pickleball coach level 2

Alex’s approach to coaching is developing the person to be able to have the necessary skills to be able to perform at the player’s highest level. A person first approach allows Alex to coach the player to harness the appropriate skills on and off the court. Alex has extensive knowledge in improving the athlete’s mindset, determination, physicality, tactical awareness and technical improvement in their game.  With a proven track record of coaching athletes from grass roots to international competition, he will be here to help to accelerate your game to the next level.

Alex is Head of Tennis at Avenue Tennis, one of the leading racquet centres in Kent and the South East of England and manages a team of successful coaches who deliver a superb coaching programme which is recognised as an LTA 10U Performance Programme for Kent.
