Strength and Conditioning brings together sports science and practical movement to develop skills in aid of a chosen sport. At Avenue Tennis, our sessions are specific to athlete development in Tennis. We offer S&C sessions for both adults and juniors aged 9 and up.
Strength and Conditioning has some great benefits. These are:

-Improved mobility and flexibility
-Enhanced general health
-Faster recovery after injury
-Improved metabolism at rest
Our Strength and Conditioning coach Wayne will assess an individual's movement pattern to understand what can be worked on and improved. Wayne will then create a specific plan in order to achieve the goals set.
Junior group sessions are available from 9-16 year olds and are 30 minutes in duration. These sessions precede the group tennis lesson of the same category. For example, S&C Juniors is 11:00-11:30am on a Saturday and then the Junior 1 coaching session is 11:30-13:00. Sessions are carried out in our Strength and Conditioning studio.
Adult group sessions are also 30 minutes in duration and have 6 spaces available per session. These are held weekly on Monday's at 18:30 and Tuesday's at 11:00.
We also offer 1:1 S&C sessions with Wayne in our Strength and Conditioning studio. These sessions are available to both adults and juniors from 9 years of age.
